Continuous cooling conveyors with
TRANSBANDA 18500 stainless steel belts are used to cool and flake liquid materials as: resins, sulphur, asphalt, urea, hot-melts, paraffin, fertilizers, gelatin, glue, phosphates, etc.
When it is necessary, the upper part of the steel belt can run inside a tunnel with circulating air to improve cooling or remove toxic gases.
By means of different types of feeders, the materials can be cooled in sheets, strips or pastilles according to its end use.
The product thickness is easily controlled regulating the feed speed and the belt speed. The flat and smooth surface of the TRANSBANDA 18500 steel belt permits easy release of the cooled products.

The excellent performance of the cooling conveyors is given by the high degree of thermal conductibility of the TRANSBANDA 18500 steel belt, which by means of a water bed or water spray system, removes the heat of the conveyed products until they are solidified without contact of water with the product.
